Rugby Heritage Open Days Success

Rugby’s cultural and heritage sites enjoyed a successful Heritage Open Days weekend this month with large numbers of people from the local area and beyond visiting attractions.

Rugby's cultural and heritage sites enjoyed a successful Heritage Open Days weekend this month with large numbers of people from the local area and beyond visiting attractions.

Particularly popular sites included Our Lady of Angels Chapel at Princethorpe College, Rugby School and Cemex. Coombe Abbey Country Park, Garden Organic Ryton, Rugby Art Gallery & Museum and Rugby's Hindu Temple, Shree Kalyan Mandal, also received large numbers of visitors as expected.

Councillor Neil Campbell, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for Culture, said: 'I am delighted that, once again, Heritage Open Days has demonstrated the richness of Rugby's culture and heritage.'
